Despite Liberal Media's Lies To The Contrary, Donald Trump Still Meets With 100 Black Pastors

Mediaite.com:
Donald Trump held a press conference today with some of the black pastors that he met with for a few hours. Omarosa was also in attendance.

When CNN cut into the presser, one pastor was saying that Trump’s “racial slurs” were “addressed head-on.” She expressed hope about a difference in “tone at the top.”

Dr. Darrell Scott then stepped in and railed against the “liberal media” narrative against Trump, saying he fully supports The Donald.

ADVERTISING
Trump himself finally spoke, calling it a “fantastic meeting” and talking about the economic and employment issues facing African-Americans. He said, “Black lives are very important. White lives are very important. To me, all lives are very important.”

Trump bragged, “I saw love in that room” When asked about changing his tone, he said his tone has got him leading every poll, and during the meeting, “They didn’t really ask me to change the tone”
Of course, there's major significance in this meeting, especially as the Democrat party has become a Godless plantation owned and run by morally bankrupt white liberals who will whip and chain any Blacks who even think about escaping the plantation (i.e. having conservative thoughts). The more Black pastors step up and speak for not only God, but the true conservative nature of blacks in general, hopefully more and more of them won't be scared to vote with their hearts instead of who their white, liberal massah tells them to.

Ted Cruz Calls Alleged Colorado PP Shooter ‘Transgendered Leftist Activist’

Breitbart.com:
Senator Ted Cruz downplayed the role anti-abortion rhetoric may have played in the fatal shooting of three people at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado and suggested the suspect was a “transgendered leftist activist” at a campaign stop in Iowa on Sunday.

Speaking with reporters following the event, Cruz rejected suggestions that the shooter was part of the anti-abortion movement, taking issue with the “vicious rhetoric on the left blaming those who are pro-life.”

Robert Lewis Dear, 57, was taken into custody Friday night after allegedly opening fire inside a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs, killing three and injuring nine others.

When a reporter reminded the Texas senator that the suspect allegedly made a comment about “baby parts” while being arrested, Cruz countered, “It’s also been reported that he was registered as an independent and a woman and transgendered leftist activist, if that’s what he is.”

Chicago Police Finally Release Video of Laquan McDonald’s Killing by White Police Officer

Big question here is if this video came out when Rahm Emanuel, Democrat and former Barack Obama advisor, was trying to get reelected mayor of Chicago, would he have still won? Bet you the liberal press and Black Lives Matters protesters bury that little piece of news. Again, the fact that the Black Lives Matters movement started under the presidency of a half-Black POTUS, is something that doesn't get near enough the attention it deserves.

Rockefeller Bros. Oil ‘Divestment’ Pledge Is Making Al Gore Richer

DailyCaller.com:
Envronmentalists cheered as the Rockefellers, heirs to a fortune built on oil, announced they would divest their charitable fund of its fossil fuel holdings in the name of fighting global warming.

No one was more excited than former Vice President Al Gore, who used Rockefeller’s divestment as proof to world leaders that coal, gas and oil investments weren’t going to be economical in the future.

Gore had other reasons to cheer the Rockefeller Brothers Fund’s decision to divest — his own “green” investment firm would be a primary beneficiary of the nonprofit’s decision to ditch fossil fuels.

The $811 million Rockefeller Brothers Fund began divestment in September 2014, and has since lowered its fossil fuel holdings to 4.5 percent of its endowment value, according to its annual report. As part of its divestment efforts, RBF said it will invest 10 percent of its endowed assets into investments with “measurable impact aligned with its mission.”
One of those “mission-aligned” investments just happened to be a London-based investment firm founded and run by Gore. It’s unclear exactly how much RBF has invested with Gore’s firm, Generation Investment Management, but the nonprofit has committed $67.5 million to such funds.

“Since its divestment announcement, the Fund has invested in four impact investing funds: Generation Climate Solutions Fund II, Turner Multifamily Impact Fund, Elevar Equity III, and Vision Ridge Sustainable Asset Fund,” RBF disclosed in its annual report (emphasis added). “A total of $67.5 million has been committed to these funds, of which approximately $7.2 million has been deployed through July 31, 2015.”

Gore’s $750 million Generation Climate Solutions Fund II is a “green” investment fund incorporated in 2014 in the Cayman Islands that’s sold $42 million to eight U.S. investors, according to the fund’s Securities and Exchange Commission filings. The fund requires a $3 million commitment from outside investors.

Thanks To Feminism Women Are Closing The Gender Drinking Gap

TheDailyCaller.com:
Women are drinking more alcohol and closing the historic booze gap with men, according to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA).

Men traditionally drink more than women, says NIAAA, but habits are shifting with men slightly moderating the amount of booze they consume while women are moving starkly in the opposite direction.

NIAAA found the percentage of women who had a drink in the last 30 days rose from 44.9 percent to 48.3 percent between 2002 and 2012.

Men, on the other hand, moderated their drinking slightly with 56.1 percent saying they drank alcohol in the last 30 days compared to 57.4 percent who said the same in the decade up to 2012. The drinking gap now stands at 7.8 percentage points.
Women are also closing the gap with men for the average number of days in the past month they drank but are still lagging behind at 7.3 compared to men’s 9.5.

“This study confirms what other recent reports have suggested about changing patterns of alcohol use by men and women in the U.S.,” says NIAAA director George F. Koob.

The study, which was published in the journal Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research, warns the trend is “particularly concerning given that women are at greater risk than men of a variety of alcohol-related health effects, including liver inflammation, cardiovascular disease, neurotoxicity and cancer.”
Hey, just like the lesbian community aka Nazi feminists tell us all the time: women can do anything men can do and by golly that includes being an alcoholic! Go Feminism!

U.S. Pilots: Barack Obama Blocks 75% of ISIS Strikes

WND.com:
President Obama has given U.S. military pilots an impossible task: Wage a successful air war against an enemy hiding among civilians – without killing a single civilian.

Pilots who have returned from deployments say Obama refuses to permit airstrikes 75 percent of the time against the Islamic State group.

“You went 12 full months while ISIS was on the march without the U.S. using that air power and now as the pilots come back to talk to us they say three-quarters of our ordnance we can’t drop, we can’t get clearance even when we have a clear target in front of us,” Rep. Ed Royce, R-California, chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told the Washington Free Beacon on Wednesday. “I don’t understand this strategy at all because this is what has allowed ISIS the advantage and ability to recruit.”
Obama has resisted sending in U.S. ground troops to battle ISIS, which has allowed the Sunni terror group to better defend against coalition airstrikes.

Jack Keane, a retired four-star U.S. general, said Obama demanded Air Force officials vet targets based on goal of zero civilian casualties.

“This has been an absurdity from the beginning,” Keane said Wednesday, the Free Beacon reported. The president personally made a statement that has driven air power from the inception. “When we agreed we were going to do air power and the military said, this is how it would work, he [Obama] said, ‘No, I do not want any civilian casualties.’ And the response was, ‘But there’s always some civilian casualties. We have the best capability in the world to protect from civilians casualties.’”

Obama’s reply was, “No, you don’t understand. I want no civilian casualties. Zero,” Keane told the website. “So that has driven our so-called rules of engagement to a degree we have never had in any previous air campaign from desert storm to the present.”

John Kerry Claims Al Qaeda Is 'Neutralized' Before Mali Attack

Townhall.com:
Just as President Obama claimed ISIS had been contained nine hours before the attacks on Paris, so too Secretary of State John Kerry said al Qaeda was neutralized just before the massacre in Mali.

"I'm confident if we stay steady, keep our heads in thinking creatively but also being strong and committed to our fundamental values, we're going to defeat Daesh. We always said it will take time. We began our fight against al Qaeda in 2001 and it took us quite a few years before we were able to eliminate Osama bin Laden and the top leadership and neutralize them as an effective force. We hope to do Daesh much faster than that and we think we have an ability to do that. So that's the effort, and we're going to continue," Kerry claimed.

Islamist militant group al Mourabitoun said it carried out the Mali attack on Friday with al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM).

Jihadists yelling “allahu akbar” stormed a U.S.-owned hotel in the former French colony that was filled with international guests. At least 21 people died in the attack, including one American.

Obama administration officials would do well to refrain from making premature assessments about the vitality of both ISIS and al Qaeda for the foreseeable future.

STD Rates Rise Dramatically Around the Country

WTKR.com:
The news in this year’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report on sexually transmitted diseases is not good.

The number of cases of chlamydia and gonorrhea in the United States increased between 2013 and 2014, after being on the decline for several years. Cases of syphilis, which have been on the rise for the last decade, shot up in 2014.

Chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis are the three most common STDs in the United States that are also notifiable, meaning health departments are required to report new cases to the CDC. (HIV and shigella are also notifiable STDs.)

Chlamydia is the most common and can damage a woman’s reproductive system. The report found that in 2014 there were more than 1.4 million cases of chlamydia, or about 456 for every 100,000 people. There are about 350,000 cases (or 111 for every 100,000 people) of gonorrhea, which causes infections. And there are nearly 20,000 cases (six for every 100,000 people) of syphilis, which if left untreated can lead to serious complications, including blindness.
Hey, with social liberals dismissing self-responsibility and sexual debauchery being more and more accepted in the far-Left, Obama era, it's no wonder this generation is so literally sick.

Liberal Scumbag Senator Harry Reid Investigated by Utah Prosecutor in Pay-to-Play Claim

Newsmax.com:
U.S. Sen. Harry Reid is under investigation by a Utah county prosecutor in connection with an alleged pay-to-play scheme involving two former Utah attorneys general.
Davis County Attorney Troy Rawlings, a Republican, said in a statement on Wednesday that he's looking into allegations related to the Democratic senator from Nevada, reported The Associated Press.
Rawlings declined to disclose the allegations and only said the claims are based on information from witnesses in the attorneys general case.
Reid, who hasn't been charged, fired back at Rawlings in a statement from his spokeswoman Kristen Orthman. She said Rawlings is using "Sen. Reid's name to generate attention to himself and advance his political career, so every few months he seeks headlines by floating the same unsubstantiated allegations."
Reid has denied wrongdoing since a businessman said in 2013 that a former Utah attorney general arranged a deal to pay the senator to get rid of a federal investigation into a software business.

47 Democrats Join GOP to Pass Refugee Screening Bill Barack Obama Threatened to Veto

Mediaite.com:
The majority-Republican House passed a bill today that would implement stricter screening procedures for refugees, with the help of 47 Democrats.

Republicans have been pushing this legislation to ensure that each and every refugee coming to the U.S. is thoroughly inspected and certified as not a threat by national security leaders.

The White House made it clear last night that if the legislation passes, President Obama will veto it because it would “introduce unnecessary and impractical requirements that would unacceptably hamper our efforts to assist some of the most vulnerable people in the world.”

However, according to RollCall, it appears that some Democrats were frustrated by the White House’s messaging and lack of a compelling reason to vote against the bill. Democrat Gerald Connolly––who ended up voting against it––said, “What they should be doing is accepting the bill and offering to work with all of us on both sides to make it workable.”

Only 2 Republicans voted against the bill, bringing the final total to 289-137. And that happens to be over two-thirds majority, enough to override a presidential veto.
No doubt, this issue could make a huge difference come election time.

Ted Cruz to Barack Obama on Syrian Refugees: ‘Come Back and Insult Me to My Face’

Mediaite.com:
Senator Ted Cruz called out President Obama today for insulting Republicans abroad about Syrian refugees, challenging him to say it to his face.

Cruz this week called the president’s plan to bring in lots of refugees “lunacy,” and last night Obama mocked Republicans for being scared of young Syrian orphans, saying, “I cannot think of a more potent recruitment tool for ISIL than some of the rhetoric that’s coming out of here during the course of this debate.”

Speaking to reporters today, Cruz said in response, “Mr. President, if you want to insult me, you can do it overseas, you can do it in Turkey, you can do it in foreign countries, but I would encourage you, Mr. President, come back and insult me to my face.”

He challenged Obama to a debate on whether to bring in refugees––preferably in the U.S. “and not overseas where you’re making the insults.”

Widower of 9/11 Cop Returns Glamour Award Over Caitlyn Jenner

CNN.com:
The husband of a police officer who died on 9/11 has returned her Glamour "Woman of the Year" award because the magazine honored Caitlyn Jenner with the same award last week.

Moira Smith was one of 23 New York City Police Department officers to die in the September 11, 2001, attacks and the only female NYPD officer to die that day. She was seen in the time before her death rescuing people from the World Trade Center towers.

Glamour named her a "Woman of the Year" in 2001, shortly after her death. Her husband, James Smith, accepted on her behalf.

Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner transitioned to Caitlyn Jenner over the past year in the spotlight of the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" reality television show.

It's not that Glamour honored a transgender person, James Smith told CNN. He supported Glamour's decision to honor actress Laverne Cox in 2014.

As a New York City police officer, "my precinct covered a shelter for transgendered youth," Smith said via email. "On several occasions I responded there to take reports or give aid to suicidal youths. I listened to their stories of physical, emotional and sexual abuse. Young people thrown out of their homes or fleeing from unlivable conditions.

"They didn't have the luxury of being part of the Kardashian circus," Smith wrote. "They weren't living in a Malibu Barbie beach house surrounded by what passes for family in Hollywood. They were truly brave people fighting hourly for existence.

"When Mr. Jenner said the hardest part about being a woman was figuring out what to wear (in a recent BuzzFeed interview), he proved to me that he is not truly a woman. I believe this comment and others he has made trivializes the transgender experience as I have witnessed it."
Seems like people are finally seeing the light and fighting back against the Left's Godless, insane idea that a man can just put on women's clothes and be considered a 'woman,' and they're not just conservatives.

Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein Breaks with Obama: 'ISIL Is Not Contained'

Politico.com:
Sen. Dianne Feinstein sharply contradicted President Barack Obama on Monday, disagreeing with his claim that the Islamic State is "contained."

“I’ve never been more concerned,” the California Democrat and Intelligence Committee ranking member told Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC Monday. “I read the intelligence faithfully. ISIL is not contained. ISIL is expanding.”
“They just put out a video saying it is their intent to attack this country. I think we have to be prepared,” she continued. On Monday, ISIL warned it could attack Washington if the U.S. participated in France's response to the events in Paris.

"We say to the states that take part in the crusader campaign that, by God, you will have a day God willing, like France's and by God, as we struck France in the center of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its center in Washington," a man in the video said, according to Reuters, which could not verify the video's authenticity.

Feinstein said she hoped that the U.S. would work with allies to put together “coalitions and attack plans in more than one place at a given time.”
While she said didn’t know the exact number of troops that were needed in Syria, Feinstein urged President Obama to send more than the few dozen he has announced so far. “We certainly need more than 50 specials ops and we need the ability to really make a difference on the ground,” she said.
Considering how left-wing Feinstein is, this news is pretty significant. Still, Barry has no real interest in fighting ISIS because the more he fights wars, the more his Nobel Peace prize gets tarnished. Better to keep your fingers crossed, finish out your term and hope that the next 9/11 happens on a Republican President's watch.--kind of like Bill Clinton did.

CNN’s Don Lemon on Criticism from Liberals: I’m Not an Activist, I’m a Journalist

Mediaite.com:
CNN’s Don Lemon knows how to get people talking, and in a new interview with New York Times Magazine, he talks about the criticism he’s gotten from the left and how little he gets offended these days.

Recently, Lemon’s comments about the Spring Valley police incident––which were really just along the lines of “let’s wait for more information to come out”––got intense blowback and led to a petition signed by thousands demanding he be fired.

Ana Marie Cox asked Lemon about how he always seems to be “upsetting people on the left.” He responded, “No one asks Jake Tapper or Wolf Blitzer to be the spokesperson for any particular group. I’m not an advocate or an activist. I’m a journalist.”

He likes the idea of a “judgment-free zone” where people can voice their opinions and have an honest dialogue, but he also still thinks that there’s a vein of intolerance on the left. “If you don’t make room for the possibility that you can be intolerant,” Lemon said, “then there is a fairly good chance that you are.”

And this is what Lemon had to say about how his propensity for asking unconventional questions has raised his profile:
I am not setting out to be a provocateur. I am setting out to inform people and to get people to think. I do think my career has been helped, because part of my job is to get people to have discussions.
Good for Lemon. Obviously, when he publicly announced that he was gay, the Left thought Lemon was going to bow down to the altar of Ellen DeGeneres and advocate for their Godless agenda. But simply put (and unlike some people) Lemon is a real journalist and a really good one at that. Yet for simply doing his job, he's become such a cancer to liberal dogma that now they're trying to get rid of him. If that's not fascism, I don't know what is. But they are who they are.

Idiot Liberal Bernie Sanders Says Climate Change Is A Greater Threat To World Than Isis

CNSNews.com:
Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont said in the Democratic debate on CBS News on Saturday night that climate change is the greatest national security threat America faces and is “directly related to the growth of terrorism.”

Moderator John Dickerson asked Sanders: “You said you want to rid the planet of ISIS. In the previous debate you said the greatest threat to national security was climate change. Do you still believe that?

“Absolutely,” said Sanders. “In fact, climate change is directly related to the growth of terrorism.

“And if we do not get our act together and listen to what the scientists say you're going to see countries all over the world--this is what the C.I.A. says--they're going to be struggling over limited amounts of water, limited amounts of land to grow their crops. And you're going to see all kinds of international conflict.

“But of course international terrorism is a major issue that we've got to address today,” said Sanders.
Funny how no one talks about the relationship between global warning scientists/fearmongers and federal grants. Like I always say, when it comes to the Left and global warming alarmism just follow the money.

French Senator Says Paris Bomber Posed As Syrian Refugee

CNN.com:
The Syrian refugee crisis just got worse, due to the Paris attacks

Now more than ever, since the Syrian war began 4½ years ago, the crisis can be summed up as damned if you do, damned if you don't.

What made it worse? Sunday's revelation that at least one of the Paris terrorists who killed more than 120 people on Friday entered Europe as just another face in the crowd -- embedded in the current wave of Syrian war refugees. The development appears likely to fire up the security debate over what to do with them.

More than 4 million refugees have come to Europe since Syrian government forces and rebels started fighting, opening up safe havens for ISIS and pro-ISIS forces.

The immigrant wave into Europe has been reaching new highs and it shows no sign of tapering off.
One of the men who attacked Paris held an emergency passport or similar document, according to an unnamed French senator who was briefed by the French Ministry of the Interior. The senator told CNN the bomber falsely declared himself to be a Syrian named Ahmad al Muhammad, born on September 10, 1990, and was allowed to enter Greece on October 3. From there he moved to Macedonia, then Serbia and Croatia, where he registered in the Opatovac refugee camp, the lawmaker said. Eventually, he made his way to Paris, where he was one of three men who blew themselves up at the Stade de France.

Fingerprints on the passport matched those of the Stade de France bomber, the French senator told CNN.
The fingerprint was not in the French database, the senator said, and therefore officials believe the man was among a group of refugees and migrants.

Hillary Clinton Responds to Bernie Sanders Attack on Wall Street Contributions by Invoking 9/11

Mediaite.com:
Bernie Sanders piked a fight with Hillary Clinton on Wall Street tonight at the Democratic debate, bringing up how she has gotten a lot in Wall Street donations over the years.

When Clinton put forth her proposal to regulate Wall Street, Sanders responded with three words: “Not good enough.”

He found it a little odd that Clinton professes to be so publicly anti-Wall Street when she gets a lot of campaign cash from them. Clinton pushed back and said he’s trying to “impugn my integrity.”

She brought up how she was a New York senator on 9/11, and invoked how downtown Manhattan, where Wall Street is located, was targeted on that tragic day. Clinton touted her work to help them rebuild and insisted that she’s plenty tough on Wall Street.
There's nothing this corrupt woman won't say or do to become President.

Heather Fong: Vocal Supporter of Sanctuary Cities on Short List To Be Next Head of Border Patrol

FOXNews.com:
A former San Francisco police chief and vocal supporter of a sanctuary cities policy is on a short list of candidates to become the new chief of the Border Patrol, according to sources.

As police chief, Heather Fong shielded illegal immigrants, including aliens who committed crimes, from deportation. In contrast, it is the job of the U.S. Border Patrol to catch and deport all illegal immigrants, including those with a criminal history.

"If they bring (a police chief) in for political purposes based on the sanctuary cities model, that politicizes the job and I think it completely undermines credibility and morale in the organization," House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Mike McCaul, R-Texas, told Fox News.

"If you have someone who is advocating for sanctuary cities, that's the opposite side. They welcome these illegal immigrants to stay in the country. And so I think it's at cross-purpose with the mission itself."

Fong, according to Border Patrol, DHS and Capitol Hill sources, is one of several candidates to replace current chief Mike Fischer, who announced his resignation last month.

Teacher Fired for Refusing to Call 6-Year-Old Girl by Male Transgender Name

Newsmax.com:
A Texas teacher who reportedly would not agree to call a 6-year-old girl by her transgender boy's name has filed a federal discrimination complaint against the daycare center that fired her for the refusal.
Madeline Kirksey filed the a wrongful termination complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission after she was fired from the Children's Lighthouse Learning Center in Katy, Texas, on Nov. 3, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Kirkey, a manager at the daycare, and another employee were reportedly fired after they voiced concern when the child's parents brought her to school with shorter hair and instructed them to start calling her a male name.
Kirksey reportedly said she thought that all parents with children enrolled at the Lighthouse Learning Center should be notified of the change regarding the 6-year-old student. After that, she was terminated, according to a the document provided to the Chronicle by the educator's attorneys.
The firing happened the same day Houston voters repealed the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance which would have — among other things —allowed trandgender people to use whichever restrooms they prefer.

Hillary Clinton Laughs When Supporter Says He Wants to ‘Strangle’ Carly Fiorina

Mediaite.com:
A military veteran at an event in New Hampshire told Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton that seeing Republican rival Carly Fiorina on television made him want to “strangle her.” In response, Clinton laughed at the man, saying: “I wouldn’t mess with you.”

Clinton was attending an event in the town of Derry, where she was going to unveil her campaign’s plan to support military veterans and their families. It was during a Q&A session with those in attendance that the man spoke up.

Not only was the unidentified man a veteran, but he also claimed to be a former employee at Hewlett-Packard, where Fiorina was CEO from 1999 to 2005.

Yet it was another reporter’s tweet about the incident, which was live-streamed by MSNBC, that made matters worse. That’s because Clinton apparently “thought [the comment] was hilarious” enough to laugh out loud at.

Last week, Fiorina failed to correct a supporter for calling President Barack Obama a “black Muslim.” When criticized for her inaction, she explained that Obama wasn’t on the ballot.

Ben Carson Trolls Liberal Media Ahead of FBN Debate: Yes, He Even ‘Colored Outside the Lines’

Mediaite.com:
Ahead of the Republican national debate, GOP candidate Ben Carson posted a video mocking the media’s scrutiny of his youth.

In the video, Carson’s aides reveal the “Top 10 Things the Liberal Media Thinks are Important for Voters to Know About Ben Carson,” from the time in college when he “threw away a glass bottle in a ‘paper products only’ receptacle,” to his reckless phase in the fall of ’62 when he “checked out a library book and returned it two days late.”

The tongue-and-cheek video also wants supporters to know that as a kid, Carson “occasionally” colored outside the lines, and in what appears to be a pattern of negligence, “didn’t replace the divots” the first time he went golfing.

Over the past week, Carson has spared with the media over accusations that he fabricated stories from his past. Carson’s supporters rallied around the Republican candidate, blaming the “liberal media” for biased attacks on Carson; many media outlets maintain the scrutiny is part of the presidential vetting process.

Bernie Sanders: Media Scrutiny of Ben Carson Is Why People Hate Politics

Mediaite.com:
Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders does not believe the media scrutiny Republican Ben Carson is receiving is fair game for a presidential campaign.

Appearing Sunday morning on Meet the Press, the Vermont senator said the real problems with Carson’s candidacy are his positions on the issues, not anecdotes he recounted decades ago. Sanders slammed Carson for his views on climate change, Medicare, and taxes.

“I think it might be a better idea — I know it’s a crazy idea — but maybe we focus on the issues impacting the American people and what candidates are saying, rather than just spending so much time exploring their lives of 30 or 40 years ago,” Sanders told host Chuck Todd.

Carson has been under the media spotlight for potentially exaggerating stories involving his past, including anecdotes of a violent and tumultuous childhood, as well as whether he received a scholarship from West Point. Carson has said he stands by all of his past statements about those events, and slammed the media for its “smear campaign” against him.

Sanders went on to contend that Americans are generally turned off to politics because the discussions in the media do not center around substantive issues.
Of course, Sanders' is going to continue get hated on by hypocritical Hillary surrogates as long as he stays in the race, but unlike Billary, at least he's consistent.

Queens, New York Teacher Fired For Being "Straight"

NYPost.com:
A Queens teacher claims he was fired because he’s straight.

Lane McDonough says he was hired to teach fifth grade at Bayside’s PS 159 because Principal Paul Didio mistakenly believed he “was gay at the time of the interview,” according to a lawsuit.

Didio was wary of hiring men because of “a bad experience,” he allegedly told the rookie educator during the June 2014 interview. “I gave a male teacher a bad review, and he retaliated by accusing me of soliciting [oral sex].”

The principal — who the lawsuit claims is gay — hired McDonough anyway. But two months later, after interrogating the teacher about his personal life, Didio, 39, discovered McDonough was heterosexual, court papers say.

Didio forced McDonough to switch grades a month into the school year, ridiculed him for being unprepared, subjected him to numerous informal observations, and even reprimanded him for boxes left by another educator in McDonough’s classroom, according to the lawsuit, which McDonough filed last week in Manhattan Supreme Court against the city Department of Education.

The probationary teacher wants his dismissal reversed. The city will review the allegations when it’s served with the lawsuit, a Law Department spokesman said.
Only in Barack Obama's Godless America can stuff like this happen and it'll only continue if Hillary Clinton is elected POTUS in 2016.

The Thugification of Ben Carson

TheDailyBeast.com:
Ben Carson might well be the “Rick Ross” of presidential politics.

In no small irony, the retired neurosurgeon—much like the chart-topping rapper— is under fire for allegedly misleading the public about parts of his life story. Ross, also known as “Teflon Da Don,” was never the thugged-out, gun-toting, cocaine-slanging street menace that so often shows up in his lyrics. Instead, he was a college-educated corrections officer before he turned to the music industry to make his millions.

Carson’s exaggerations don’t go that far—his tales are far more pedestrian. But in story after story the iconic physician appears to embellish his life growing up in inner city Detroit. He certainly did not need to spin wild tales about his years as a young, gifted black boy raised by a single mother in urban America. That’s a story millions know and can relate to.

However, in various books, speeches and interviews, Carson appears to want something of a “hood pass”—an acknowledgement of his toughness authenticity—that functions both as insulation from “liberal media attacks” and as political currency among white Republican voters. The lure of a Carson candidacy (as I said in an earlier column) could not be more appealing to the evangelical base, which has been looking for a way to attract more non-white voters. For them, Carson is the perfect ambassador: an American success story who also happens to be black, and the quintessential Horatio Alger from the rough side of the railroad tracks.

For his part, Carson is playing along and seemingly has been for decades. He has leaned on (and sometimes added flourishes to) his backstory in order to expand his public platform. The truth is he has been building a personal narrative—whether true or weaved from whole cloth—about himself from the moment he leapt onto the world stage. He wasn’t just poor, in Carson’s telling, he was hard—the kind of hard that can get an otherwise promising young man into trouble. And while it might be customary in hip-hop, engaging in this kind of self “thugification” is new for politics.

Without a doubt, Carson grew up surrounded by pervasive poverty, and avoiding a myriad of societal maladies in the Motor City was no small feat. For every Ben Carson, there are thousands of black boys who didn’t make it to the sunrise—the ones whose mothers watched tearfully as they left the block cuffed in the back of a squad car or wept over their bodies in a funeral home. Carson more than beat the odds. The bookish kid with thick glasses and a pocket protector earned his way into Yale and went on to become one of the world’s most celebrated surgeons.
Today, based almost solely on that story, Carson is currently leading national polls for the Republican presidential nomination. However, in recent days, key elements—as told by Carson himself— have come under increased scrutiny.

To hear the good doctor tell it, he once tried to stab a “close relative” in a dispute over a radio and at another point he wanted to hit his mother in the head with a brick. He allegedly hurled a rock at a school friend, busting his glasses and leaving him with a bloody nose. If fact, if Carson can be believed, he was so violent that he needed a divine intervention.

It’s a compelling story—one that has sold millions of books, led to a biopic about his life, and earned him countless awards over the years. The problem is almost none of its flourishes ring true and, despite the earnest efforts of reporters, almost none of them can be verified. As it turns out, CNN could find no one—not even the next-door neighbor kids—who could remember a young, hot-tempered Carson, let alone one who tried to murder somebody.
There is such a thing as revealing too much and in that regard Ben Carson can be his own worse enemy.

Liberal Latino Advocacy Group Gets Kids To Hurl Curses At Donald Trump

TheHill.com:
GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump panned an ad Friday that features children uttering profanities at him.

“I think it’s terrible,” he said of the video produced by the Deport Racism PAC. "It’s totally backfired.

“To have young kids using that kind of language is a disgrace,” Trump said on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria.”

“Anybody who would do an ad like that is stupid, to be honest,” the outspoken billionaire added. "They’re stupid people who would do an ad like that.”

Trump insisted that the controversial spot is helping, not hurting, his 2016 White House run.

“People are actually going wild about it and saying, ‘We’re going to support Trump now,’” he told host Maria Bartiromo.

“I’m doing great with Hispanics and I am going to win Hispanics because they know I’m going to bring back jobs from lots of places, including India and China,” Trump added.

The Deport Racism ad, released Wednesday, features children cursing Trump’s deportation policies.
It depicts two Hispanic children — “Ricardo” and “Rosa” — uttering foul language as a means of satirizing the Republican’s rhetoric on illegal immigration.

“F**k you, [you] racist f**k,” Ricardo tells Trump. "If you don’t like the Constitution and what it stands for, then get the f**k out of my country.”

The video’s release comes as Trump takes fire from some in the Hispanic community the day before hosting NBC’s “Saturday Night Live."

Multiple Latino advocacy groups, celebrities and lawmakers have urged the network to revoke the real estate tycoon’s invitation.

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus, for example, said Monday that NBC should pull the plug on Trump’s scheduled appearance.

Deport Racism is additionally offering $5,000 to anyone who calls Trump “racist” during the live broadcast on Saturday night.
I haven't watched an episode of SNL all year, but I'm definitely watching tonight.

Amid Falling Poll Numbers, Chris Christie at Risk of Missing Next Debate

Mediaite.com:
New Jersey Governor and presidential candidate Chris Christie is at risk of missing the next Republican debate after his polling numbers fell below a certain percentage.

In order to make next week’s Fox Business Network debate, candidates must poll an average of 2.5% in the four most recent national polls. In the four most recent polls, Christie has polled at 2%, 3%, 3% and 1%, making his current average 2.25%. The polling deadline ended Wednesday at midnight.

Likewise, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and former New York Governor George Pataki have failed to poll at 1% in any of those polls, a requirement for the 6 PM undercard debate. However, CNN’s Dylan Byers points out that if Fox Business decides to use the lesser-known International Business Times poll, Jindal would be allowed to participate.

The full line-up of both debates will announced at 7 PM on FBN’s The Lou Dobbs Show.
Good. Whether he's making a fool of himself attempting to politicize local law enforcement, flat-out lying about the BlackLivesMatter movement, dismissing that God-awful CNBC debate or 'that Obama hug', Chris Christie just needs to give it up already, Even the people of New Jersey don't support his run for President. Christie was my man to beat Barry in 2012, but he chose to stay out the race. Now 4 years later, the luster is gone.

Bernie Sanders Now Says There Are ‘Valid Questions’ About Hillary’s Damn Emails

Mediaite.com:
Remember that big moment at the Democratic debate when Bernie Sanders said the American people are sick and tired of hearing about Hillary Clinton‘s damn emails? Well, it turns out Sanders didn’t mean that to suggest he doesn’t think there’s anything worth investigating.

Sanders gave an interview to The Wall Street Journal today in which he was asked whether he was dismissing the Clinton email controversy altogether.

He said no and admitted that there are “valid questions” about concerns that there was classified material on Clinton’s server. And yes, Sanders thinks the federal investigation is appropriate.

And he wasn’t done there:
On the issue of Mrs. Clinton’s emails, Mr. Sanders didn’t say he regretted his debate remarks. “You get 12 seconds to say these things,” he said of the debate setting. “There’s an investigation going on right now. I did not say, ‘End the investigation.’ That’s silly… Let the investigation proceed unimpeded.”
When Sanders was asked about Clinton’s trustworthiness and emails back in August, he deferred and refused to attack her.

Houston, Texas Rejects Lesbian Mayor's Attempt To Allow Men To Use Women's Bathrooms

NYTimes.com:
The predominantly black Third Ward here, a historic and struggling community, seemed like the kind of precinct that would be sympathetic to a broad ordinance outlawing discrimination based on factors such as race, religion and sexual orientation.

But at a polling site in the Cuney Homes public housing complex here on Tuesday, the talk among voters was not about discrimination. Picking up on an ad campaign run by a coalition of pastors, social conservatives and Republicans opposed to the measure, they voiced concerns as parents that it would let men claiming to be women enter women’s bathrooms and attack.

“I got three daughters,” said Todd Ward, a city worker who voted against the ordinance. “You have too much child molestation going on. It’s equal rights, but there’s not an equal right for me to go into a women’s bathroom. That’s common sense.”

More than a year ago, when Mayor Annise D. Parker and her supporters first proposed the ordinance and steered it through the City Council, they expected it to be welcomed in a diverse city that had become, with Ms. Parker’s election in 2009, the nation’s first big city to elect an openly gay or lesbian mayor.

Instead, voters called for the ordinance’s repeal on Tuesday, a blow to gay and transgender rights advocates, and perhaps the most significant victory for social conservatives since they were rocked by the Supreme Court ruling in June establishing a constitutional right to same-sex marriage. Voters rejected the ordinance overwhelmingly, 61 percent to 39 percent.
Good for Houston. As a side note on this perverse and ridiculous issue: Funny how you never have women who identify as men wanting to use men's bathrooms.

GOP Overplays Hand (Again) in Debate-Complaint Department

Mediaite.com:
It's amusing to listen to the president and DNC chair offer advice on being tough in debate settings, as Mr. Obama never had to participate in a debate with Fox moderators (who proved to be tough to Republicans despite predictions of softballs going back to August), nor has DWS ever allowed one on that network as DNC chair. And you know what they say, if you can’t handle those guys (and girls), I don’t think the Chinese and Russians are going to be too worried about you (no worries, they’re already not).

Back to the Republicans, any coalition they tried to hastily put together has already fallen apart, with Christie, Fiorina and Kasich wisely dismissing the GOP letter proposing debate changes. If you’re negotiating this moving forward, the solution is fairly simple: instead of allowing pundits/opinion folks, pick and choose print reporters to be moderators instead. Remember, these debates have drawn record numbers for Fox, CNN twice, and CNBC. Moderating such an event only raises anyone’s brand (and, for example, if done correctly like Anderson Cooper did with CNN’s Democratic debate, gravitas). But if a political print reporter is in that moderator spot, the look-at-me element goes away, and in the process, substantive questions without editorial grandstanding come in its place.

So for the debate slot open on February 26th with the RNC (for now) booting NBC, Jim Oliphant of Reuters and Julie Pace of the Associated Press would be two down-the-middle, solid, veteran political reporters to strongly consider to handle that debate if placed elsewhere. Sorry… Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh ain’t the answer here.

In the meantime, the GOP needs to cease complaining about the CNBC debate. It’s already old news. Fix the problem (quietly and without multiple campaigns negotiating, which redefines the definition of herding cats) and move on. Calling out media bias will get some applause at rallies, yes. Right-wing radio will cheer, yes. But in the end, the voters that really count in the general aren’t going to care very much.

Given the scrutiny the CNBC debate received, it’s a safe bet to assume future moderators will be careful to avoid editorializing in their questions given the microscope that’s on them now. And hopefully, finally, we’ll get some real answers when real questions are asked, which would make everyone–the candidates, voters–happy if entertainment isn’t solely the goal.

Give us an inch, we’ll take a mile. Republicans sure know how to turn a positive into a negative quickly. But given there’s still 370 days to Election Day, there’s still plenty of time to cut through the noise and controversy to get… you know… an actual, detailed message out.

$20 Trillion Man: National Debt Nearly Doubles During Barack Obama Presidency

WashingtonTimes.com:
When President Obama signs into law the new two-year budget deal Monday, his action will bring into sharper focus a part of his legacy that he doesn’t like to talk about: He is the $20 trillion man.

Mr. Obama’s spending agreement with Congress will suspend the nation’s debt limit and allow the Treasury to borrow another $1.5 trillion or so by the end of his presidency in 2017. Added to the current total national debt of more than $18.15 trillion, the red ink will likely be crowding the $20 trillion mark right around the time Mr. Obama leaves the White House.

When Mr. Obama took over in January 2009, the total national debt stood at $10.6 trillion. That means the debt will have very nearly doubled during his eight years in office, and there is much more debt ahead with the abandonment of “sequestration” spending caps enacted in 2011.

Congress and the president have just agreed to undo one of the only successful fiscal restraint mechanisms in a generation,” said Pete Sepp, president of the National Taxpayers Union. “The progress on reducing spending and the deficit has just become much more problematic."

Barack Obama Admin.: Transgender Student Born Male Must Be Allowed to Shower With Girls

Mediaite.com:
In a new ruling from the Department of Education, a Chicago-area school district must allow a transgender student who was born male to shower with other members of the girls’ soccer team.

Township High School District 211 had set up a compromise where they had set up “privacy curtains” in the girl’s locker room and required the then eighth-grade student to use the cordoned area. But after a two-year investigation, the DoE found that the arrangement represented discrimination on the basis of sex.

“All students deserve the opportunity to participate equally in school programs and activities — this is a basic civil right,” Assistant U.S. Secretary Catherine Lhamon said in a statement.

“This decision makes me extremely happy — because of what it means for me, personally, and for countless others,” the student told CNN. “The district’s policy stigmatized me, often making me feel like I was not a ‘normal person.'”
You'd think sick stories like this would unite conservatives as it's just another example of liberals refusal to compromise on anything. Bottom line, as long as Democrats (aka liberals) are in charge we will continue to live in a fascist country where feelings will matter more than facts. And we will dwell farther and farther away from God's word as well.

White House Will Block Release of Hillary Clinton Emails to....Barack Obama

HotAir.com:
Rank has its privileges, after all, and the highest rank can claim executive privilege. The White House will informally use its privilege to keep e-mails between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on her secret e-mail system shielded from public scrutiny, the New York Times’ Michael Shear reports.
This makes for an interesting Friday night document dump, no?
The White House will try to block the release of a handful of emails between President Obama and former Secretary of StateHillary Rodham Clinton, citing longstanding precedent invoked by presidents of both parties to keep presidential communications confidential, officials said Friday.
The State Department discovered the emails between Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton as part of its effort to release the former secretary’s emails, several thousand more of which were scheduled to be made public on Friday. Mr. Obama’s correspondence was forwarded for review to the White House, which has decided against release.
That decision could intensify the political struggle between Mrs. Clinton, who is running for president, and congressional Republicans, who have pressed for disclosure of her emails as part of an investigation into the administration’s handling of the attacks on an American compound in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012.
This sounds a little more juicy than it is, which we’ll get to in a moment. The bigger news is that another 268 e-mails from Hillary’s secret server have been classified, including at least one that she initiated:
Hundreds more emails from Hillary Clinton’s time as secretary of state were newly deemed classified as part of Friday’s State Department release of more than 7,000 pages of her messages, which revealed more about Clinton’s knowledge of embassy security issues and lighter moments like Clinton’s use of emojis.
Friday’s document release is the sixth of its kind and with it, more than half of the messages turned over to the agency have now been made publicly available. The 268 emails now deemed classified in this batch are at the lowest classification tier, according to State Department spokesman John Kirby, who said that none of these emails “were marked classified at the time they were sent or received.” There are now between 600 and 700 emails newly marked as classified since the releases began in May.
Back to the privilege claim. Unlike the other claim of executive privilege made in the Operation Fast and Furious probe by Congress involving Eric Holder, privilege in this circumstance does have long precedent. This directly involves communication between a President and his advisers (which includes Cabinet Secretaries), the case for which executive privilege explicitly exists. In order to overcome that claim, Congress or a court would have to have cause to suspect that specific violations of the law exist. One cannot conduct fishing expeditions without something specific in mind, unless a President chose to release the communications and waive the privilege. The classic case of piercing the privilege was with Richard Nixon’s tapes in the Watergate scandal, when there was already plenty of reason to suspect that the tapes had information relating to potentially criminal behavior. Nothing like that exists here, at least not yet.

Of course, invoking that privilege carries some political risks regardless of whether the circumstance falls completely within the classic model or not. In this case, Congress is looking into the deaths of four Americans in a terrorist attack on a consulate for which it provided inadequate security. If any of these e-mails relate to the attack or to the security of the Benghazi compound, then withholding them becomes at least politically problematic. The odds of that are probably pretty low, but the fact that they’re locking the e-mails down makes it impossible to rule out, too.

The mystery doesn’t do many favors for either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. It just serves to remind everyone that the White House knew full well that Hillary was using a private e-mail system and never bothered to mention it while Congress and several courts were being told that State had no e-mail records responsive to numerous and legitimate requests related to both oversight and transparency. Keeping those e-mails secret in the middle of an investigation into Benghazi only ties Obama more closely to both the Benghazi probe and Hillary’s e-mail scandal.
