Sarah Sanders: Person of the Week
Claim to Fame: White House Press Secretary
Why She's the Person of the Week: for staying seated at the stupid, annual White House Press Correspondent dinner last night, while insipid 'comedian' and bitter Trump-hater Michelle Wolf berated her with personal attacks and disgusting jokes on Sanders' looks.
Wolf, who has gotten bi-partisan criticism for her wayward routine, has so far refused to back down, much less apologize, even going on Twitter and claiming that she only went after Sanders' 'behavior', which is a blatant lie as anyone who looks at the tape can see. Either way, while most would've gotten up and left the room upon having nasty, personal attacks thrown at them from a D-rated comedian, Sanders sat, looked on and took the swipes on the chin.

Male Victims of Sex Abuse Quote of the Day!
“Men are historically considered the bad guys,” suggested Brown, referring to public attitudes. “If some men abuse women, then we all are abusers ourselves … so therefore when it comes to our being abused, we deserve it.”
Brown’s sense of distance from the #MeToo movement is shared by other abused men — some of whom have been using a #MenToo hashtag on Twitter.
“We’re never necessarily welcome to the parade,” said Andrew Schmutzer, a professor of biblical studies at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago who has written about being abused as a teen.
“As a male survivor, you’re always an adjunct,” he said. “You’re never the leading subject of a conversation.”

President Trump: Person of the Week
Claim To Fame: 45th President of the United States
Why He's The Person of the Week: for teaming up with France and the UK to launch successful strikes on Syria to retaliate for a suspected chemical weapons attack and for pardoning former Dick Cheney Chief-of-Staff Scooter Libby.
Trump announced Friday night that he ordered precision missile strikes in conjunction with French and British allies against the Syrian government. The President noted that the strike was underway in areas in and around the Syrian capital of Damascus were struck. In proof that the mission met its target, yesterday the Pentagon announced that the Syria strikes hit the ‘heart’ of the rogue nation's chemical weapons program.
As for Libby, known as "Scooter," who was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice in 2007 in connection with the overblown leak of a CIA officer's identity, Trump did what George W. Bush should've done while he was still President: grant Libby a full pardon. Bush had commuted Libby's sentence but did not issue a full pardon. "I don't know Mr. Libby, but for years, I have heard that he has been treated unfairly," Trump said in a statement from the White House.

Joy Behar: Liberal Scumbag of the Week
Claim To Fame: Comedian and talk-show host
Why She's The Liberal Scumbag of the Week: for ignorantly stating that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un (as well as Vladimir Putin) has 'more sanity' than President Trump. Behar, still very bitter at the loss of Hillary Clinton to Trump in the 2016 election, has proven time and time again since then to be unhinged, but this is a new level of absurdity.
After all, the facts state that Kim is the dictator of a country that kills hundreds of thousands of political dissidents. Then too is the fact that it was Trump who got Kim to back down from launching nuclear weapon 'tests' recently and in an attempt to garner peace with North Korea, is set to meet with Kim in the near future. Always looking for attention with her outrageous statements and forever hating on a President who won a democratic election fairly and squarely while working harder to get the job, this next level of tomfoolery gives Joy Behar our Liberal Scumbag of the Week award.

Michael Goodwin Quote of the Day!
After breathless drip, drip, drip reports that had the president practically being frog-marched to a firing squad at dawn, the fever broke. Every dog has its day, and the Washington media decided this president’s day comes once every 15 months.
True to form, news outlets immediately pivoted back to their regularly scheduled programming of stories saying Trump is in imminent danger. The New York Times and ABC declared that George Nader, a Lebanese-American businessman, though a stranger to readers, is now Mueller’s hottest witness.
Enough.
The violent swings of the leaky pendulum make this an excellent moment to call timeout on the Mueller probe. What does he have, where is he going and when is he going to get there?

Jeff Sessions: Person of the Week
Claim to Fame: former U.S. Senator from Alabama and current Attorney General of the United States
Why He's the Person of the Week: for implementing, this past Friday, a zero tolerance policy for immigrants illegally crossing the Southwest border. Sessions notified all federal prosecutors along that part of the border of the new policy in a memo Friday and directed them to make prosecuting criminal immigration offenses a priority.
Continuing the prove that he will enforce the laws when it comes to illiegal immigration, Sessions also directed prosecutors to work with the Department of Homeland Security to develop guidelines for prosecuting offenses under immigration law.
“To those who wish to challenge the Trump Administration’s commitment to public safety, national security, and the rule of law, I warn you: illegally entering this country will not be rewarded, but will instead be met with the full prosecutorial powers of the Department of Justice," he said in a statement.
The Department of Justice said the new policy is in response to a report from the Department of Homeland Security that showed a 203 percent increase in illegal border crossings from March 2017 to March 2018 and a 37 percent increase from February 2018 to March 2018 — the largest month-to-month increase since 2011. “The situation at our Southwest Border is unacceptable,” Sessions said in the statement. “Congress has failed to pass effective legislation that serves the national interest — that closes dangerous loopholes and fully funds a wall along our southern border.”

Liberal Scumbag of the Week: Justice Matthew Sciarrino
Claim to Fame: Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice
Why He's the Liberal Scumbag of the Week: for his kid-gloves treatment on repeated felon and drunken driver Zakiyyah Steward that would eventually lead to the death's of innocent young couple Yisroel Levin, 21, and his fiancée, Elisheva Basya Kaplan, 20.
JewsOnTelevision has more:
Steward, 25, was indicted in March 2017 for breaking into the cafe where she used to work — Stonefruit Espresso & Kitchen on Bedford Ave. — and stealing money from the safe, authorities said.
She burglarized the trendy coffee shop a stunning four times, allegedly making off with more than $3,000 in cash. The brazen bandit, unable to come up with the cash to post $10,000 bail, remained in jail for eight months. She was facing up to 25 years in prison if convicted. Prosecutors floated Steward an offer: Plead guilty in exchange for two-to-six years behind bars, sources said. But Sciarrino stepped in and instead sent her to a court-mandated alternative to incarceration program.
She was booted from the Fortune Society-run program and twice missed court appearances. Sources said prosecutors requested a bench warrant but Sciarrino refused. Instead, a March 5 hearing ended with the judge giving Steward a second chance to complete the program. She walked out of the courthouse that day, and a month later, hopped into her Hyundai Genesis, setting a deadly sequence of events in motion.

Roseanne also deserves props for the huge ratings the two episodes of her re-booted show received, thus garnering praise for once again showing a side to middle-America that's rarely seen on TV as well as a call of congrats from the President himself.
