Thanks To An 11-Year-Old Boy Named Harriete Cunningham, British Columbia May Be Removing Gender From Birth Certificates

The Human Rights Tribunal in British Columbia will consider completely eliminating gender designations from birth certificates in response to complaints from the Trans Alliance Society (TAS) and other transgender individuals, according to an article in the National Post. 

According to the complainants, we need to stop acting as if doctors can tell the sex of a baby just by looking at the baby’s genitals:

Birth certificates [may] give false information about people and characterize them in a way that is actually wrong, that assumes to be right, and causes people . . . actual harm,” said transgender woman and TAS chair Morgane Oger. “It’s considered true and infallible when it isn’t,” she added. The complainant’s lawyer, barbara findlay (no, that’s not a typo — she spells her name in all lowercase letters because who are you to tell her she can’t), said that the current practice of putting “male” or “female” on birth certificates is downright wrong because: 1. Those are not the only two genders and 2. A person’s “gender develops” over time.

“Children are raised ‘as’ the birth-assigned gender, which is a crazy-making experience,” findlay said in an e-mail to the Post. 

“Instead of living in a social reality that recognizes that gender develops, and does not exist at birth, those children have nothing to work with except that something feels profoundly wrong,” she added.

Among the complainants are Colin and Megan Cunningham — the parents of Harriette Cunningham, a transgender child who became one of the first in British Columbia to have her birth certificate changed last year — who claim that “Harriette was mistakenly assigned the gender ‘male’ at birth.” 

“Since it is impossible to tell an individual’s gender at birth it is discriminatory to issue a birth certificate with that information on it,” the complaint stated. 

Of course, the tribunal has simply agreed to review the complaints, which does not necessarily mean that the policy will change — especially considering how many people are still holding on to that antiquated view that the designations are helpful for statistical, scientific, and travel purposes.

CNN Guest: ‘Christianity Is Under Attack’ in Duggar Reactions

Radio host Wayne Dupree said on CNN last night that “Christianity is under attack” in how lots of people have reacted to Josh Duggar‘s molestation confession.

He repeatedly told Don Lemon that the Duggar scandal has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity, in spite of certain pieces of commentary he’s seen to the contrary, even if the Duggars are “hiding behind it.”

Towards the end of the segment, Lemon told Dupree he was being “disingenuous and naive” to make those assertions. Dupree shot back that “Christianity is under attack” in all this because of how people are pointing to the Duggars and saying this is what happens when you’re raised in that kind of environment.

Montel Williams, who had some pretty choice words for Duggar last week, responded to Dupree’s comments on Facebook, agreeing that it shouldn’t be about Christianity but that it’s also “intellectually dishonest to pretend a large segment of the population, INCLUDING MANY CHRISTIANS are tired of people like the Duggars preaching misguided intolerance cloaked in piety.”

Lesbian Woman Pleads Guilty to Murder of Married D.C. Lawyer Who Placed Online Ad for Gay Sex

A D.C. woman admitted in court Thursday that she fatally stabbed and robbed a lawyer in an upscale hotel after answering an online ad he had posted seeking sex with a man.

Jamyra Gallmon, 21, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the Feb. 9 killing of David Messerschmitt, who worked at the international law firm DLA Piper. He was found dead in a room at the Donovan Hotel at Thomas Circle, stabbed repeatedly in the abdomen, groin and heart, police said. 

During the hearing in D.C. Superior Court, Assistant U.S. Attorney Shana Fulton said Gallmon, plotting a robbery, tricked Messerschmitt into thinking she was a man, even e-mailing him a photo of a man’s torso. Gallmon brought zip ties that could be used to bind Messerschmitt and a small knife, prosecutors said. 

Police have said Messerschmitt was in the hotel room when Gallmon arrived and had texted his wife that he would return to their Capitol Hill home in about an hour. 

Gallmon's roommate and alleged girlfriend, Dominique Johnson, 19, also of the District, pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit robbery for her role in events on the day of the murder, officials said.

Fifth Circuit Upholds Injunction Against Barack Obama's Illegal Attempt At Executive Amnesty

President Barack Obama's plan to shield as many as 5 million immigrants living in the U.S. from deportation remained on hold Tuesday after a federal appeals court panel refused to allow it to take effect immediately.

Obama announced an executive action in November seeking to expand a program that protects young immigrants from deportation if they were brought to the U.S. illegally as children. The order also would extend deportation protections to some parents of U.S. citizens and permanent residents.

Although Obama argued lack of action by Congress forced him to make sweeping changes on his own, Republicans blasted the plan as an executive overreach. Twenty-six states have sued to stop it, and a federal judge based in Texas issued a preliminary injunction against it in February.

The administration is appealing that injunction and had asked a three-judge panel of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to let the program proceed pending an argument on the merits, tentatively set for July.

But, in refusing to stay the Texas judge's injunction, 5th Circuit judges Jerry Smith and Jennifer Walker Elrod said that the federal government lawyers are unlikely to succeed on the merits of the appeal. Judge Stephen Higginson disagreed in a lengthy dissent.

Immigrant advocates decried the continued roadblock. And, White House spokeswoman Brandi Hoffine said the two-judge majority in Tuesday's ruling "chose to misinterpret the facts and the law."

U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen sided with the states and, from his court in Brownsville, Texas, issued a temporary injunction on Feb. 16 to block the plan from taking effect while the lawsuit works its way through the courts.

In denying a stay, Smith and Elrod rejected the government's argument that it has such broad discretion to defer legal action against immigrants absent judicial review. The Obama policy, the ruling said, goes beyond simple non-enforcement. "It is the affirmative act of conferring 'lawful presence' on a class of unlawfully present aliens," Smith wrote.

Higginson noted congressional inaction on the issue in his dissent and said the administration was acting within its authority.

Smith and Walker were nominated to the court by Republican presidents, Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush; Higginson, by Obama.

Regarding this matter here's what the liberal media won't talk about" the thousands of immigrants who get their proper papers and come into the U.S. annually the legal way and how this attempt by Barack Obama to override the constitution hurts so many homegrown Americans, in particular Blacks.

Allen, the CEO of Entertainment Studios, told TMZ he’s “disappointed” by how the president referred to violent Baltimore protesters as thugs. He’s not happy with how black people “have fallen further behind under President Obama.”

Allen believes that Obama doesn’t think he can be both a president and a black man, going so far as to say, “President Obama is, at this point, a white president in blackface. Black America would have done much better with a white president.”

Mediaite readers may recall that Allen recently filed a lawsuit against Comcast, accusing them of paying off Al Sharpton and even saying at one point that Comcast’s mentality is “Don’t do business with real African-American-owned companies, just give him 50,000 and a bucket of chicken and we’re good.”

Barack Obama's presidency will be defined by how he successfully hosed Americans and our judicial court system with the white, liberal agenda--a socialist and Godless agenda that has pushed for "gay rights", faux-"climate change", full outright amnesty for illegal aliens, a dismantling of George W. Bush's legacy and the great deception of healthcare for all. For the second Sabbath in a row, Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace quizzed a 2016 GOP hopeful about the implications Marbury v Madison, which established judicial review a couple years before Twitter was invented. 

This time around it was Mike Huckabee’s turn to explain why he would be allowed as president to not obey a Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage (or anything else). Huckabee has said he would not follow a high court ruling legalizing same-sex marriage, a matter the Court is expected to decide on imminently.

“Judicial review is exactly what we have lived under; we have not lived under judicial supremacy,” Huckabee said. “The Supreme Court can’t make a law; the legislature has to make it, the executive has to sign it and enforce it. The notion that the Supreme Court comes up with a ruling and that automatically subjects the two other branches to following it defies everything there is to equal branches of government.”

Wallace asked him about other situations, such as a former Arkansas governor’s unwillingness to enforce SCOTUS’ ruling on desegregation, or turning over required documents to Congress, a la Nixon. Huckabee seemed to say it the first was fine because the president, in that case Eisenhower, agreed with the ruling, which begged the question; in the second he said Congress can impeach an executive if he refuses to obey. So, all in all, adult ways to govern.

It's what the Godless Left has done for years: equate homosexuality with race to make it seem that people who engage in homosexual sex do so because they were 'born that way' and thus have no other choice but to be gay. Of course, this deliberate attempt to lie, mislead and propagandize naive folks has worked to startling effect as "gay rights" laws continue to become the norm and more people bow down to the Gay Mafia. Wallace, who works for a so-called "conservative" network, should respect Huckabee's Christian views on the matter, but he's just a pinhead who's more focused on earning his paycheck and pleasing his bosses by supposedly being 'far and balanced' than anything else. Blame Huckabee too for not being aware when he's being set-up for another media trap.

Bakery That Refused to Bake Cake With Gay Slogan Loses N. Ireland Case

Everyone loves Bert and Ernie, right? So what could be controversial about going to a bakery and ordering up a Bert and Ernie cake?

Well, plenty, if the cake is supposed to bear -- in addition to the depictions of the two "Sesame Street" characters -- the inscription "Support Gay Marriage."

That is the kind of cake that gay rights activist Gareth Lee ordered in greater Belfast, Northern Ireland, in May 2014 for a function marking the International Day Against Homophobia. 

But Lee ordered the cake from the Christian-owned Ashers Baking Co., which refused on the grounds that baking it would conflict with the religious beliefs of the bakery's owners.

Or, as Bert would say, "Yes I do mind!"

Lee, offended, sued. 

And on Tuesday, Ashers was found guilty in Belfast County Court of discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation. The judge said Ashers was a "business for profit" and not a religious group and, while the owners had "genuine, deeply held religious views," they were not above the law.

Lee had testified that being refused service "left him feeling like a lesser person." The court awarded him £500 ($775) in damages. 

Of course, the case had long since grown into something larger than a simple dispute between a company and a customer.

Lee was supported in his lawsuit by the state-funded Northern Ireland Equality Commission, which has reportedly spent almost £40,000 ($62,000) on the case so far.

And the bakery was backed by the Christian Institute, which says on its website that it exists for "the furtherance and promotion of the Christian religion in the United Kingdom" and "the advancement of education."

Tuesday's decision can be appealed to a higher court. And Asher's general manger, Daniel McArthur, said it would be.

He said the bakery never had an issue with Lee, did not know his sexual orientation and would happily serve everyone. 

The issue, McArthur said, was with the cake.

"The ruling suggests that all business owners will have to be willing to promote any cause or campaign no matter how much they disagree with it," he said.

Not satisfied with gov't sanctioned "rights' based on the act of homosexuality, the Godless Gay Mafia wants to force Christians to choose between their faith and outright sin. It's who they are, it's what their agenda is really about.

Barack Obama To Allow Blood Donations From Gay Men As Study Finds That Half of Atlanta’s Newly Diagnosed HIV patients have AIDS

Grady Hospital just started a routine testing program for HIV patients in 2013, and already, Atlanta is ranked number 1 in U.S. cities for its rate of new diagnoses of HIV.

The problem is that HIV testing is not routinely available where most people go for health care. And even though Grady is the only emergency department in Atlanta to offer the program, there are 50 other places people can go to get tested.

“Despite that, there are patients who aren’t going to get those tests. And they aren’t going for a decade,” said Dr. Abigail Hankin-Wei to WABE.

These patients who go undiagnosed can and often will develop AIDS, despite the fact that it takes 8 to 10 years for HIV to develop into AIDS when it is untreated. By the time patients in Atlanta are diagnosed, one third will have advanced to clinical AIDS.

“When we diagnose patients with HIV, the first time we are telling them they’ve been infected with HIV, we know that among our patients at Grady, nearly half of them have AIDS the day we diagnose them,” said Hankin-Wei.

There are many reasons people may not get tested, ranging anywhere from poverty, fear, the stigma of the disease, or even the fact that those in a monogamous relationship feel safe. But testing and treatment can significantly decrease the risk of transmission … to almost nothing.

“Diagnosing people to get people on treatment is our best method to prevent further transmission,” said Wendy Armstrong, the director of the Ponce de Leon Center, an AIDS care facility in Atlanta.

Catherine Hanssens with the Center for HIV Law and Policy in New York noted that testing should ideally take place long before an emergency room visit: “Frankly if someone is in a medical emergency or they present with a gunshot wound or a knife wound that is probably the very worst and last time that you would ever offer an HIV test.”

Forget about telling gay men to be more responsible because that'd make you a 'homophobe'. Instead, bow to pressure from the rich, powerful, white Gay Mafia, turn a blind eye to their promiscuous, sinful ways and enhance the risk of innocent people getting infected with HIV.

Actor Denzel Washington Urges College Grads To Put God First in Everything They Do

Actor Denzel Washington recently spoke to the college graduates of Dillard University, and during his commencement speech, he urged the 218 students in attendance to "put God first in everything you do."

Relevant Magazine obtained the speech made by the Flight and American Gangster actor, in which he stressed the importance of God and prayer.

"Everything that I have is by the grace of God, understand that. It's a gift. I didn't always stick with Him, but He stuck with me," he said.

At the same time, Washington told the students not to "be afraid to fail big" and to always remember that working is not about "how much money you make, you can't take it with you."

Whatever people might be going through in their lives, what is important is that they give the glory to God, he contended. There are so many things in life people can be grateful for, according to the actor, and they should take the time out to thank God for bountiful blessings.

"While you're on your knees, say thank you. Thank you for grace, thank you for mercy, thank you for understanding, thank you for wisdom, thank you for parents, thank you for love, thank you for kindness, thank you for humility, thank you for peace, thank you for prosperity," he said.

Washington even said that people should thank God in advance for what is already theirs. "True desire in the heart for anything good is God's proof to you sent beforehand that it's already yours," he explained.

Jeb Bush: No Constitutional Right to Same-Sex Marriage

Speaking to The Brody File Sunday, 2016 hopeful Jeb Bush said he did not believe marriage equality was a constitutional right, and said opposition should continue regardless of the much-anticipated Supreme Court ruling on the issue due this spring.

“I think traditional marriage is a sacrament,” Bush said. “To imagine how we are going to succeed in our country unless we have committed family life, committed child-centered family system is hard to imagine. So, irrespective of the Supreme Court ruling because they are going to decide whatever they decide, I don’t know what they are going to do, we need to be stalwart supporters of traditional marriage.”

“Thousands of years of culture and history are being changed at warp speed,” Bush said. “It’s hard to fathom why it is this way.”

Bush pointed out that President Barack Obama and Democratic challenger Hillary Clinton both held the same view as of four years ago. Obama came out in favor of same-sex marriage in 2012, while Clinton recently endorsed it as a constitutional right.

As for Jeb, he shrugged his shoulders recently at a court decision to allow the practice in his home state of Florida. The candidate sounded far more convicted in the interview.

ABC News Anchor George Stephanopoulos Apologizes for Not Disclosing $50K Donation to Clinton Foundation

George Stephanopoulos was forced to apologize today after it was revealed that he donated roughly $50,000 to the Clinton Foundation in the past two years, and did not disclose them while reporting on the Clintons’ activities.

In his statement, sent to Politico, the ABC anchor admitted that in 2013 and 2014, he donated $25,000 per year to the Clinton Foundation, run by his former boss Bill Clinton and current presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. “I thought that my contributions were a matter of public record,” he said, pointing to tax filings that disclosed his contributions. “However, in hindsight, I should have taken the extra step of personally disclosing my donations to my employer and to the viewers on air during the recent news stories about the Foundation. I apologize.”

In recent years, and the past few months in particular, critics of Stephanopoulos have demanded that he disclose his relationship to the Clintons before reporting on them — he served as the White House Communications Director and a senior policy advisor during the Clinton Administration — and these revelations will likely vindicate their concerns. 

But the real kick in the teeth comes from this interview he conducted last month with Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer, in which Stephanopoulos vigorously challenged Schweizer’s assertion that as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton would do favors for countries that made multimillion dollar donations to the Clinton Foundation.

Amazon Becomes Gender Neutral, Removes 'Boys' and 'Girls' Labels in Toy Department

Amazon is trying to get rid of labels.

In what seems like an attempt to be gender neutral, Amazon removed the labels "Boy Toys" and "Girl Toys" from its search filters under the Toy Department. Consumers will only be able to search for toys based on the child's age or type of toy: arts and crafts, action figures, dress up and pretend play, etc.

Amazon has not released a statement as to why it removed the search terms from its filter. The Daily News reached out for comment, but Amazon didn't immediately respond.

Well, the president of the National Organization of Women was asked about the same issue by The Hill, and said the same thing, without all the sugarcoating.

Terry O’Neill said, “Yes, I think it is sexist. I think the president was trying to build up his own trustworthiness on this issue by convincing us that Senator Warren’s concerns are not to be taken seriously. But he did it in a sexist way.”

And the subtext of Obama’s remarks dismissing Warren as just another politician, she said, was just “the little lady just doesn’t know what she’s talking about.”

Hillary Clinton Has Yet To Give An Interview Since Declaring Run For President

Friday marks 26 days since Clinton formally announced she is running for president, but she has yet to do a formal interview with national media, extending her own record as the presidential candidate who’s waited longest in modern history.

Clinton’s silence comes as political reporters are buzzing about the book “Clinton Cash,” which details influence peddling by the Clinton Foundation. The book is written by Breitbart News Senior Editor at Large Peter Schweizer.

The Washington Post’s Erik Wemple writes on media organizations, but recently took to his blog to point on the New York Times’ approach to dealing with Hillary Clinton’s silence to reporters.

Wemple said New York Times reporter Amy Chozick has created what he coined “the air question.”

Chozick decided to post questions online that she would like to ask Clinton – that is – if Clinton was taking any media questions.

Her post following Clinton’s comment on immigration Tuesday read:

“President Obama said his executive action on immigration went as far as the law will allow. You say you would go beyond what he did. How could you stretch the law further than the president of your own party and his Justice Department says it can go?”

Wemple wrote The Erik Wemple Blog would continue to report on Chozick’s series of questions “if the Times air-questions Clinton on her sparse Q-and-A availability, which would be a glorious meta-media moment.”

Massachusetts Schools Ask 12-Year-Olds If They’ve Had Anal or Oral Sex

Across Massachusetts – and across America – thousands of schoolchildren are given sexually graphic, psychologically intrusive surveys by the public schools without parents’ knowledge. These surveys also ask youth to reveal their criminal activity, personal family matters, and other intimate issues.

This is done in the public middle schools and high schools during school hours. At best, parents are told about the surveys in vague terms, but are rarely allowed read them beforehand.  The surveys are “officially” anonymous and voluntary. But they are administered by the teacher in a classroom and (according to teachers we’ve talked to) there is often pressure for all kids to participate.

The major survey given to kids across America is the “Youth Risk Behavior Survey” put together every two years by the national Centers for Disease Control and handed off to state and local education departments (which they can modify). And there are many similar surveys administered in various districts.

We’ve documented multiple times over the past few days how Fox News has been a bit divided on what to make of Pamela Geller‘s “Draw Muhammad” cartoon contest. You have Megyn Kelly and The Five fully behind Geller’s actions as a matter of principle, while Greta Van Susteren and Bill O’Reilly both have expressed their opposition to being so aggressively and intentionally provocative.

Well, you can add Fox’s own Geraldo Rivera to the latter group, as he made abundantly clear in tweets from both Tuesday and today about the matter:

Astronomically low crime rates may be one of the greatest public policy triumphs in history. All this time, liberals have been lying in wait, dying to undo all the accomplishments of the last 20 years. 

A quarter century of peace has lulled ordinary people into taking their safety for granted. They naturally assume that everyone regards it as a good thing that people are able to go about their lives without being raped, beaten, slashed or murdered. 

They don't know liberals. I've been warning you since 2001 that, as soon as we left the room, liberals would start emptying the prisons and loosing predators on us again. 

The stunning crime reduction of the last couple of decades is being called a "public policy disaster" from every news outlet -- even the news outlets currently being looted in Baltimore. 

Last week, The New York Times' Andrew Rosenthal praised Hillary Clinton, saying she had "correctly identified this country's racist incarceration policies as a wrong that must be righted." 

The New York Times' working assumption is that the only way to judge the criminal justice system is to ask if Al Sharpton is unhappy. 

The next day, yet another opinion piece hailed Hillary for confronting "American problems of poverty and violence, racial injustice and criminal policing," and her switch from a "conventionally tough-on-crime politician" to, presumably, a conventionally soft-on-crime politician. The column's only complaint was that "the solutions she was listing have been known for years. For decades." 

Yes, we spent all of the 1970s and 1980s trying those solutions -- and our cities were war zones. 

It wasn't politicians, but the public that finally demanded that the criminal class be taken out of circulation. Politicians had no choice: Either they had to build more prisons or be voted out of office. 

Democrats, social workers, liberal judges and criminologists fought like mad to keep criminals on the street, coming up with ever-more creative excuses for why prison doesn't work and continuing to demand that we "close the achievement gap." 

So much blood is on their hands! The "root cause" advocates are directly responsible for hundreds of thousands of murders, rapes, slashed faces, broken limbs and ruined lives. 

By abandoning the left's "close the achievement gap" crime-fighting policies, the nation's murder rate was halved -- to say nothing of the rape, assault and burglary rates. At least 150,000 Americans who would have been murdered under the old policies are still alive.

Bill O’Reilly Tackles Texas Shooting: ‘Insulting the Entire Muslim World Is Stupid’

If you’ve been glued to Fox News all of tonight, you may have noticed two separate anchors criticizing the actions of the group behind the “Draw Mohammed” cartoon contest in the span of ten minutes. Greta Van Susteren ended her show by scolding the American Freedom Defense Initiative and its founder Pamela Geller for putting law enforcement at risk, and mere moments later, Bill O’Reilly kicked off his program by repeatedly saying what Geller and the AFDI did was “stupid.”

O’Reilly burnished his own anti-jihadist credentials as he said, “Insulting the entire Muslim world is stupid… It does not advance the cause of liberty or get us any closer to defeating the savage jihad.”

In fact, O’Reilly argued that it actually “hurts the cause” to fight jihad, and Laura Ingraham agreed with him that it isn’t “beneficial.” Neither of them discounted the importance of the free speech, but as far as O’Reilly’s concerned, that’s “not in play” here.

Ingraham also called it “stupid” to intentionally provoke like that, and cited what Pope Francis said about Charlie Hebdo, that it’s “rude [and] unnecessary.” O’Reilly concluded, “Just because you can say it doesn’t mean you should say it.”

Liberal Media Forced To Report That Bruce Jenner Hit with Wrongful Death Suit over Fatal Car Crash of Kim Howe

Bruce Jenner was hit with a wrongful death suit today over a car crash that left one woman dead.

Back in February, Jenner got into a three-car crash when he hit one car, which then was hit by another vehicle. Kim Howe, the female driver in one of the cars, died, and Jenner soon released a statement expressing “my heartfelt and deepest sympathies.”

But now, according to TMZ, Howe’s two stepchildren have filed a wrongful death lawsuit, calling Jenner “careless and negligent” and blaming him for speeding and being inattentive when he crashed into her car.
TMZ notes that Howe’s stepkids had “virtually no relationship” with her.

Jenner, of course, got lots of media attention last week when he spoke out about his transition to female in an ABC News interview.

About time the liberal media (who while calling this freak a 'hero' after his notorious interview with Diane Sawyer, totally ignored his part in the death of  is forced to report on what really matters concerning on the going-ons of this sexual freak and illegal talking-on-cellphone-while-driving 'woman' named Bruce Jenner.

The Prisoners actress, 48, continues that conversation in her book of essays, Whatever … Love Is Love: Questioning the Labels We Give Ourselves, which hit shelves on April 28. THR talked to Bello about her views, her work and the consequences of her revelation.

Your book is about questioning labels. Do you believe sexuality is fluid?
Absolutely. So many people have come to me and shared stories. One woman said the other day that she's been married for 26 years, but she hasn't had sex with her husband in 6 years — but they are the best of friends and great companions and she thinks he may have had an affair, but it doesn't really matter to her. There are different ways to have relationships and maybe it's time to start being really honest about that. I mean the very definition of desire is to want something you don't have; for many people in longtime committed relationships it's very difficult to desire the same person. I always say whether you are conservative or liberal, black, white, man, woman, whatever — sexuality is very complicated, and let's just stop pointing fingers and start asking questions instead.

In your book, you write that a lot of media outlets got it wrong when your essay was published, writing that you came out as a lesbian. Has that been hard?
It was disheartening, but I sort of expected that because that is the easy answer. But that was not the point to the story and not the point of my journey. In my story, traditional labels don't seem to fit anymore for most people; they are limiting the possibility for me to become who I am meant to be. I just don't define myself by who I have sex with.

You wrote in your New York Times piece that you wondered how coming out would affect your career. Has it?
A woman came up to me at an event — and she's a producer in Hollywood, a well-known lesbian — and she was always a little bit rude to me. Like, not nice at all. She said, "Welcome to the club." I said, "I don't want to be in your club." The club I want to belong to is the people that come from their heart and are fighting for people they love and standing by people they love.

Despite being in a sexual relationship with a woman for the first time, this 48-year-old weirdo and mother says don't call her a 'lesbian'...right.
