Why She's The Liberal Scumbag of the Week: along with Adolf Hitler, 9/11 is just one of those things that you should never politicize. But leave it to 'controversial', freshman Democrat pol Ilhan Omar to stick her foot in her mouth (again) and do just that by outraging the families of 9/11 victims by referring dismissively to the terrorist attacks while speaking to a Muslim lobbying group.
Omar’s recent comments at the Council of American-Islamic Relations [CAIR] fundraiser were made last month when she called upon other Muslim-Americans to “make people uncomfortable” with their activism. However, another part of the speech surfaced on social media this week in which Omar described the terror attacks perpetrated by Al Qaeda. “CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Omar said at the event.
And instead of apologizing or saying that she was taken of context for her irresponsible remarks, Omar doubled-down by making comparisons to former President George W. Bush's famous bullhorn speech just after the attacks. And of course, being the far-Left loon that she is, Omar would then play both the victim and race card after many conservatives and even President Trump lashed out at her online and in the media.

If you're still surprised at how low Joe and Mika will go with their TDS, then you really haven't been paying attention. Of course, Scraborough politicizing 9/11 to bash Trump is just another way to deflect from the fact that his show helped Trump become POTUS in the first place.
