Comedian/Actor David Spade: Barack Obama ‘Should Have a Little More Dignity’ Than to Appear on Reality Shows

Mediaite.com:
David Spade has said in the past that President Obama‘s participation on reality shows is not exactly becoming for the leader of the free world. Yesterday, TMZ caught up with the actor, who expressed that Obama should “have a little more dignity” than doing things like going on an episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls.

“What president is doing reality shows,” Spade asked. “I realize that Woodrow Wilson went on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ once… It just sounds weird to me, you know, it’s just too much.”

Spade also had some commentary about how “thirsty” the First Family is when Michelle Obama has been on with Ellen Degeneres more than he has.

“He’s on GQ, I’m like, leave that to Bradley Cooper,” Spade added. “You don’t need to go — you’re the president, you’re above all of us, you’re above stars, you’re above everything. When he’s trying to get in the mix like I want to present at the MTV Awards – all right guy, you got it, relax.”
Spade better be careful before the wolves come out and call him a 'RACIST!!!' for daring to criticize Barry.

Dumb White Liberal Comedian Sarah Silverman: Comedians Should ‘Change with the Times’ for PC College Students

Mediaiite.com:
Jerry Seinfeld set off a bit of a firestorm earlier this year when he said he had stopped performing comedy at colleges because the students were generally too “politically correct.” It is a message that has been echoed by everyone from Chris Rock and Jay Leno to Bill Maher and Colin Quinn. But comedian Sarah Silverman has a different view.

Speaking to Vanity Fair from the Toronto Film Festival this week, where she is promoting her new film I Smile Back, Silverman said she didn’t agree with everything her fellow comedians have said on the issue.

“To a degree, everyone’s going to be offended by something, so you can’t just decide on your material based on not offending anyone,” she conceded. “But, I do think it’s important, as a comedian, as a human, to change with the times.” Silverman added, “I think it’s a sign of being old if you’re put off by that.”

As an example, she cited her use of the word “gay” — as in, “That’s so gay.” Silverman once defended her use of the word as a stand-in for “lame,” but then she stopped herself and realized, “I have become the guy from 50 years ago who said, ‘I say colored, I have colored friends.'”

“It’s not hard to change with the times, and I think it’s important,” she continued. “And when you have new information and when you become more aware of the world around you, you can change.”

“You have to listen to the college-aged, because they lead the revolution,” Silverman added. “They’re pretty much always on the right side of history.”
Of course, as a racist and arrogant white, liberal she has to bring race up when making her argument.
