Business Insider: Liberal Scumbag of the Week
Claim to Fame: American financial and business news website founded in 2009 that also operates international editions worldwide.
Why It's the Liberal Scumbag of the Week: for removing an already-published piece by conservative writer Daniella Greenbaum that apparently offended some liberal colleagues.
The now-removed column, headlined “Scarlett Johansson is being unfairly criticized for doing her job after being cast as a transgender man,” played devil’s advocate to gay mafia members outraged that the famed actress was cast as a trans man in the upcoming movie “Rub and Tug.”
This despite the fact (as Johansson herself noted before she caved to the pressure and backed out the role a few days ago) that cisgender actresses like Hillary Swank received massive critical praise as well as an Oscar for playing a transgender woman in “Boys Don't Cry”. Then too is the fact that a well-accomplished, mainstream actress like Johansson would've brought plenty of attention to an otherwise secular film.
Worse than the fact that Greenbaum got her article retracted for daring to suggest (“The job of an actor is to represent someone else,” Greenbaum argued. “Johansson's identity off the screen is irrelevant to the identities she plays on the screen.”) that a woman could play a trans man in a film, was Business Insider reasoning their decision with the ultra-lame “did not meet our editorial standards" excuse. In other words, the website got so shook by the leeches in the Gay Mafia that its Editor-in-Chief Nich Carlson even went so far as to quickly issue a new protocol for columns, analysis, and opinion pieces that are deemed “culturally sensitive.” Right.
Good thing Greenbaum did the right thing and quit rather then continue to subject herself to possibly being censored for refusing to bow down to the ever-offended pricks on the Left.
“Unfortunately what happened with my piece—the tarring of a commonsensical view as somehow bigoted or not thought out; the capitulation of those who are supposed to be the adults to the mob” Greenbaum wrote in her resignation letter, “is a pattern happening all over the country within institutions that pride themselves on open-mindedness and liberalism.”

She caved. Either that or Ellen called and put the fear of the entire Gay Mafia onto her.

Glamour Magazine Names Man with Penis 'Women of the Year'
TheFederalist.com:
To prove either that they have reached the pinnacle of patriarchal leftism, or that they are making the biggest joke in the history of mankind (on us), Glamour magazine has named Caitlin nee Bruce Jenner “Woman of the Year.” To celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of this award, Reese Witherspoon will accompany him on the December cover.
This is not only absurd, but patriarchal posturing at its finest; not to mention an insult to real women everywhere.
It was all fun and games—except when it wasn’t—when Jenner announced he was going to begin playacting a woman for the foreseeable future. As if that wasn’t enough, the transgender lobby prodded their ideal posterboy further Left. Next, ESPN awarded him with its Arthur Ashe Courage Award, and he secured his own reality show, “I Am Cait.”
Enough is enough. Glamour goes too far. Jenner cannot be woman of the year because—kids, close your eyes—he has a penis. Jenner might feel like he is a woman, he might want to be a woman, he might be living as a woman, but thoughts do not generate biology or reality. (I’d like to think I’m a millionaire and living in Turks and Caicos year-round, but that doesn’t make it so.)
The fact that Glamour is even passing this off as some kind of convoluted, uber-progressive fact is absolutely mind-bending. It’s as if we’ve taken the blue pill a long time ago and Neo is actually Trinity. When “The Matrix” is the only working analogy, we have a problem.
When conservatives start finally accepting how the deep end the Left is with their anti-God mantra and when said mantra starts biting them in the ass, only then will we all be better off and can start fighting back. This Is a Cultural Ploy
The progressive left is to culture what Hollywood is to “House of Cards:” Sure, there’s some real elements incorporated, but some things get exaggerated—or altogether lost—in the shuffle. Grant it, this is Glamour. It’s not like we expected them to pick Laura Bush as woman of the year. So one could consider the source and just as easily shrug it off. But as a college professor once said, “A movie is never just a movie,” and likewise a magazine cover is never just a magazine cover.

15 Reasons ‘Marriage Equality’ Is About Neither Marriage Nor Equality
TheFederalist.com:
Same-sex marriage is a notion that contains within itself the seeds of its own destruction. I doubt many have thought this through, with the ironic exception of the elites who have been pushing the agenda the hardest.
Most people are weary of it all and going along to get along, especially since dissent has become such a socially expensive proposition, almost overnight. That in itself should deeply concern anyone who values freedom of expression.
Sure, true believers scattered across the land really do think the entire project ends with allowing same-sex couples to marry. Most persist in the blind faith that a federal ban on the standard definition of marriage will have no negative effect on family autonomy and privacy. That’s a pipe dream.
The same-sex marriage agenda is more like a magic bullet with a trajectory that will abolish civil marriage for everyone, and in doing so, will embed central planning into American life. And that, my friends, is the whole point of it. Along with Obamacare, net neutrality, and Common Core, genderless marriage is a blueprint for regulating life, particularly family life. The Rainbow’s Arc
Unintended consequences usually come about when we are ignorant or maybe lazy about a course of action. But we usually crash land after following an arc of logic, which in this case has gone largely undiscerned and unaddressed in the public square.
Americans are in a fog about how marriage equality will lead to more central planning and thought policing. This is partly because the media and Hollywood only provide slogans to regurgitate while academics and judges push politically correct speech codes to obey.
Let’s explore the fallout of that arc of faulty logic. Included below are some 15 of the gaping holes in the “marriage equality” reasoning that Americans have not thought through.1. The Kids Are Not Alright
In March, six adult children from LGBT households filed amicus briefs opposing genderless marriage: see here, here, and here. You can read testimonials of many such children in a newly released anthology by Robert Oscar Lopez and Rivka Edelman, “Jephthah’s Daughters: Innocent Casualties in the War for Family ‘Equality.’”
Whenever a parent is missing—for whatever reason—a child feels a primal wound. In this respect, parents belong to their children more than children belong to their parents. We ought to recognize that privileges of civil marriage should ultimately exist for children, not for adults. Children have the right to know their origins and not to be treated as commodities. Same-sex parenting—which increasingly involves human trafficking, particularly with artificial reproductive technologies (see number eight)—deliberately deprives a child of a mother and/or a father. The “marriage equality” agenda requires that such children bear that burden alone and repress their primal wound in silence.RELATED: Limbaugh on SCOTUS Gay Marriage Ruling: ‘Cultural Depravity’ Will Spread
