GOP Forced To Cancel Committee Vote To Advance Judicial Nominees Due To Jeff Flake’s Blockade Over Mueller Bill

As frustrated as Trump's rightfully been about the Mueller probe, there's no way he's ever firing Mueller because the blowback would be heavy, enough to seriously dent his chances at getting re-elected and Flake knows this. Flake's just being a prick about a bill that would have zero chance of passing because he hates Trump and wants to stick it to him before he leaves the Senate and moves on to his lame MSNBC or CNN pundit gig.

Megyn Kelly Is Out At NBC Following Blackface Comments

First of all, you'd have to be an idiot not to know to know that blackface is offensive. Blackface isn't some new PC-thing, it's been a problem for like a century now. That said, with both liberals and conservatives hating Kelly these days, her next turn might have to be cable...or with Roger Ailes deceased, Bill O'Reilly gone and FOX having a female CEO these days, maybe just maybe, Kelly might wanna think about going back to FOX.

Angry Never Trumper Nicole Wallace Wants Someone To 'Ring' Sarah Sanders Neck

Twitchy.com:
How do you resist the temptation to run up and ring [Sarah Huckabee Sander’s] neck?” asked Nicole Wallace while talking about the mean joke on John McCain told by White House staffer Kelly Sadler:
Wallace later apologized for her “poorly chosen words” which she spoke in a segment where she called for someone else’s “poorly chosen words” to be fired:
Nicolle Wallace ✔ @NicolleDWallace When I asked about whether the tension in the briefing room ever makes reporters want to wring the neck of the spokesman, I used poorly chosen words, & for that I’m sorry. I was trying to imagine the exasperation of getting spin & not answers re: John Mccain being “about to die”
Wallace’s panel was mad at Sanders for refusing to answer a question on Sadler. From the New York Times:
“I’m not going to validate a leak one way or the other out of an internal staff meeting,” Ms. Sanders said. Asked why she would not simply apologize to Mr. McCain, she said, “I’m not going to get into a back and forth because, you know, people want to create issues of leaked staff meetings.”
Later on in the segment, the panel compared Sanders to Saddam Hussein propagandist “Baghdad Bob” and John Heilemann said he’d rather commit suicide than sit through Sanders’ briefings:
Sadler called McCain's family and apologized. But that's not enough for the anti-Trump media, especially during a week in which we got great news regarding North Korea releasing hostages, the economy and that horrible Iran deal. They need a distraction. It's who they are.

Stacey Dash Withdraws from Congressional Run

Well, there goes your political life.
A little more than a month after she filed paperwork to create a campaign committee, actress Stacey Dash announced that she was no longer running for Congress.
Dash, a conservative best known for her role as Dionne in Clueless, blamed the political process for her decision to end her run in California's 44th congressional district. The seat is currently held by Democratic freshman Rep. Nanette Barragan.
"At this point, I believe that the overall bitterness surrounding our political process, participating in the rigors of campaigning, and holding elected office would be detrimental to the health and wellbeing of my family," she said in a statement posted on Twitter. "I would never want to betray the personal and spiritual principles I believe in most: that my God and my family come first."
Every time you start to take Stacey Dash seriously as a prominent Black conservative she just ends up disappointing you.

New York Times Columnist Apologizes For Donald Trump Tweet Invoking Assassination Scene

DailyCaller.com:
New York Times columnist Ross Douthat apologized for joking about Donald Trump’s presidential campaign ending in an assassination attempt.

Wednesday, Douthat tweeted, “Good news guys I’ve figured out how the Trump campaign ends.” Then he linked a clip from the 1983 movie “The Dead Zone,” starring Christopher Walken and Martin Sheen. In the film, there is an assassination attempt on a politician. He has since deleted the tweet.

Inforwars reported that Walken’s character attempts to kill Sheens’s character, but Sheen uses a baby has a human shield, thus destroying his credibility.

“A lot readers were offended by my Trump/”Dead Zone” joke from yesterday,” Douthat wrote Thursday. “I can see why, and I’ve deleted the tweet. Apologies.”

Douthat who is a conservative, posed the question in his Wednesday column, “Are better odds for reform conservatism worth a choice between four or eight years with President Hillary or our own nuclear-armed Berlusconi?”
The more Trump wins, the more the haters are gonna come out saying dumb shit.
