Rahm Emanuel Quote of the Day!

“We’ve taken a position so far, and the candidates have, through the process – few have not – about basically Medicare-for-All, which is we’re gonna eliminate 150 million people’s healthcare. We’re gonna provide healthcare to people that just come over the border. That is an untenable position for the general election.”

 - former mayor of Chicago and former Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel on the concept of Medicare for All, embraced by a majority of Democratic 2020 presidential candidates

John McCain Reasserts Hatred for President Trump by Coming Out Against Graham-Cassidy Health Care Bill

McCain's 'no' vote on Graham-Cassidy is about nothing more than his pure hatred for President Trump. Consider that his own state governor likes the plan, Graham is a close, personal friend of his, McCain wasn't on Trump's Whip list, he campaigned in 2012 on repealing Obamacare and the fact that for all of McCain's talk of wanting debate, amendments, etc. on a bill, Democrats have shown ZERO interest in working with the GOP on even fixing Obamacare. Someone needs to just present all these facts to McCain and ask him straight to his face, if there was a different President, would he say 'yes' to Graham-Cassidy?

Senator John Thune on Graham-Cassidy Healthcare Bill

No way they get a 'yes' vote from Collins or Murkowski as long as defunding Planned Parenthood stays in the deal/ So I get the feeling that this could be left up to McCain again....and wouldn't that bitter old man just love to stick it to Trump again.

Lindsey Graham on his Healthcare Plan

Well, Lindsey's certainly expressing some hope (and Graham certainly gets McCain). Very bad look for McConnell if they can't make anything happen on HC in two weeks tho.
