Truth is, RINO's like McCain and Graham don't want Trump to get credit for anything.

Ted Cruz ‘Affair’ Rumors Peddled by Marco Rubio’s Allies
TheDailyBeast.com:
The senator accused Donald Trump of planting a National Enquirer sex scandal story. If that’s true, Trump wasn’t the only Cruz opponent trying to traffic in smears.
If you enjoy daydreaming about Ted Cruz’s sex life, then today is your lucky day.
The National Enquirer alleged on March 23 that the senator has had five extramarital affairs. And the descriptions it provided of the women—along with barely-pixelated headshots of them—left little to D.C. insiders’ imaginations as to who the Enquirer had accused of being Cruz paramours.
“A HOOKER, A TEACHER & COWORKERS: 5 romps that will destroy Ted Cruz!” the Enquirer piece boldly claims, in an article that includes a wild “sex-in-closet” allegation.
Cruz fired back on Friday, charging that the piece was baseless and that the Enquirer was taking its marching orders straight from “Donald Trump and his henchmen.”
The truth behind the rumor-mongering, however, is a little more complex. A half-dozen GOP operatives and media figures tell The Daily Beast that Cruz’s opponents have been pushing charges of adultery for at least six months now—and that allies of former GOP presidential hopeful Marco Rubio were involved in spreading the smears.
For months and months, anti-Cruz operatives have pitched a variety of #CruzSexScandal stories to a host of prominent national publications, according to Republican operatives and media figures. The New York Times, The Washington Post, Bloomberg News, Politico, and ABC News—reporters at all those outlets heard some version of the Cruz-is-cheating story. None of them decided to run with rumors. Those publications’ representatives all declined to provide on-the-record comments when The Daily Beast reached out for this article.
How ironic. Now will the conservative Hate Trump crowd who are doing their all to make sure Hillary wins in November, come out and admit that Trump had absolutely nothing to do with this scandal? Of course not, because that's how bitter they are at Trump becoming the GOP nominee. Then too, will any of them condemn whoever it is that was behind the 'slut-shaming' of Trump's wife? Nah, hell will freeze over before that happens.

Once Again, Ted Cruz Campaign Caught Pushing Fake Smear of Marco Rubio
Mediaite.com:
According to an article pushed by the Ted Cruz campaign Sunday, Marco Rubio casually renounced his Christianity in a roomful of people yesterday.Funny that some people are actually suggesting that Rubio team up with Cruz to defeat Trump, totally ignoring that with the way Rubio's been accusing Cruz of lying on him time and time again, Marco probably doesn't want to be in the same room as Cruz again, much less saddling up to him.
In a video posted by the University of Pennsylvania student paper The Daily Pennsylvanian, Rubio runs into Ted’s father Rafael Cruz and a Cruz staffer while the campaigns were both staying in the same hotel. According to the video’s subtitles, they had the following conversation:
RUBIO: Got a good book there.
STAFFER: Yes, sir.
RUBIO: Not many answers in it. (points) Especially in that one.
After The Daily Pennsylvanian posted a trolly piece wondering what book it was, the Cruz campaign of course responded by telling them it was the Bible. Now if the video’s transcription is accurate, Rubio randomly went up a Cruz staffer, complimented the Bible (“Got a good book, there” was a statement, not a question), immediately denounced it seconds later in full view of a room of people and his young son, and then casually strolled off. That may strike some as plausible, but only those who are already inclined to believe Rubio is Satan incarnate.
The problem is, listening to the audio, Rubio doesn’t say “not many answers in it.” It sounds to me like he’s saying “all of the answers” are in it. Some say they hear him saying “a lot of answers in it,” but it definitely doesn’t sound like “not.”
According to Rubio spokesman Alex Conant, his boss said “all” of the answers. “How do I know? I’m in the video!!” he tweeted.
