If I were Grisham I'd bring back the press briefings but only do them once a month barring an emergency. I'd also start preparing myself on how to deal with narcissistic, self-righteous Trump-haters like Amy Ryan and Jim Acosta who coincidentally each have a book to promote and will certainly be looking to create some viral moments in order to help with sales.

Ryan, a liberal demagogue, partisan hack pretending to be a journalist and notorious race-baiter who has threatened Sarah Sanders before during the #Piegate 'scandal' from 2017 that Ryan herself created and has repeatedly lied on record about comments from President Trump, doubled down on this controversy by questioning Mike Huckabee's faith on Twitter and even claiming that he won't 'get into heaven' for daring to defend his daughter from her violent rhetoric. In other words, Ryan makes the threat, but now she's the 'victim'. What a disgrace.

Wallace’s panel was mad at Sanders for refusing to answer a question on Sadler. From the New York Times: 

“I’m not going to validate a leak one way or the other out of an internal staff meeting,” Ms. Sanders said. Asked why she would not simply apologize to Mr. McCain, she said, “I’m not going to get into a back and forth because, you know, people want to create issues of leaked staff meetings.” 

Later on in the segment, the panel compared Sanders to Saddam Hussein propagandist “Baghdad Bob” and John Heilemann said he’d rather commit suicide than sit through Sanders’ briefings:

Sadler called McCain's family and apologized. But that's not enough for the anti-Trump media, especially during a week in which we got great news regarding North Korea releasing hostages, the economy and that horrible Iran deal. They need a distraction. It's who they are.

Why She's the Person of the Week: for staying seated at the stupid, annual White House Press Correspondent dinner last night, while insipid 'comedian' and bitter Trump-hater Michelle Wolf berated her with personal attacks and disgusting jokes on Sanders' looks.

Wolf, who has gotten bi-partisan criticism for her wayward routine, has so far refused to back down, much less apologize, even going on Twitter and claiming that she only went after Sanders' 'behavior', which is a blatant lie as anyone who looks at the tape can see. Either way, while most would've gotten up and left the room upon having nasty, personal attacks thrown at them from a D-rated comedian, Sanders sat, looked on and took the swipes on the chin.

Sanders gave the perfect answer here because it's not only the truth, but either way, in light of Franken's sordid past coming back to bite him this week, the msm was going to bring back up Trump's sexual scandals regardless of whether or not POTUS responded more on Roy Moore or didn't tweet on Franken. The liberal press hates Trump and they really hate that a renowned Democrat and Trump-hater, Franken, rightfully got called out for being a hypocrite for advocating for women's right's in public while ignoring his own shady past. So for a little revenge they're going after Trump, esp, with calls from some on the Left for Franken to resign. Then too, the narrative that women never lie about anything serious like sexual misconduct by men is just a flat-out lie, but ever-so-convenient to use when it's a Republican in the crosshairs.
