Mediaite.com:
A military veteran at an event in New Hampshire told Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton that seeing Republican rival Carly Fiorina on television made him want to “strangle her.” In response, Clinton laughed at the man, saying: “I wouldn’t mess with you.”
Clinton was attending an event in the town of Derry, where she was going to unveil her campaign’s plan to support military veterans and their families. It was during a Q&A session with those in attendance that the man spoke up.
Not only was the unidentified man a veteran, but he also claimed to be a former employee at Hewlett-Packard, where Fiorina was CEO from 1999 to 2005.
Yet it was another reporter’s tweet about the incident, which was live-streamed by MSNBC, that made matters worse. That’s because Clinton apparently “thought [the comment] was hilarious” enough to laugh out loud at.Last week, Fiorina failed to correct a supporter for calling President Barack Obama a “black Muslim.” When criticized for her inaction, she explained that Obama wasn’t on the ballot.
