CNBC’s Joe Kernen: Climate Change Is ‘Almost Like Witchcraft’

Mediaite.com:
CNBC’s Joe Kernen has made no bones about his disdain for the climate change argument, and he was at it again Thursday morning when he said that the idea of climate change is about as serious as “witchcraft” as an excuse for why the weather acts a certain way.

Kernen was going back-and-forth with Andrew Ross Sorkin on climate change when Sorkin brought up statistics about January 2014 being one of the warmest months on record in over a hundred years. Kernen rolled his eyes and said, “It’s almost like witchcraft. In the middle ages it was witchcraft. You would have attributed adverse weather events to witchcraft. Now we just have CO2 at this point.”

Kernen has previously mocked the “enviro-socialists” who make up the “bonafide cult” of climate change activists and called Al Gore a “charlatan and villain” for his climate change advocacy.
