Conservative of the Week: Bishop Fred Henry

Age: 72

Claim to Fame: 7th and current Catholic Bishop of the diocese of Calgary, in the province of Alberta, Canada.

Why He's the Conservative of the Week: for refusing to apologize after criticizing new LGBTQ guidelines for Alberta schools. After calling the guidelines 'madness' and 'totalitarian' the bishop was met with harsh criticism by Canada's Godless Gay Mafia along with their cohorts in the 'progressive' media. Yet Henry has admirably refused to back down, stating clearly that he 'will not retract' his remarks. Bishop Henry also noted that 'only God can judge the human soul', but it is 'pure nonsense' to state that 'human behavior cannot and should not be judged'. The Alberta Education minister has a meeting scheduled within the next coming weeks with Catholic leaders to discuss the guidelines, which must be implemented in all Catholic schools by the end of March.
